Biography
Dr. Saeed Reza Mohandes is a passionate researcher in the field of Construction Engineering and Management (CEM). He held his M.Sc. in CEM from the Technology University of Malaysia (UTM). Then, he was granted a full-meritorious scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. studies at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He was granted distinction for his Ph.D. thesis, which focused on Construction Safety Management using Artificial Intelligent (AI)-based techniques. Through his collaborations with numerous researchers from diverse institutions, he has been able to hitherto publish more than fifty research papers in the prestigious journals of CEM to date, including Safety Science, Cleaner Production, Neurocomputing, Civil Engineering and Management, Sustainability, Urban Forestry & Urban Greening, etc. Thanks to his remarkable records of publication, he has conferred upon a highly competitive Postdoctoral Fellowship provided by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), for which he has been undertaking research on Smart Infrastructure Management using advanced AI-based techniques. Throughout his academic career, he has been involved in developing a number of winning research grants. On top of that, he has been serving as an associate editor, editor, guest editor, and reviewer for the leading journals in the realm of CEM.
